After following the ACOM Needle Stick policy, follow the core site policy below:
- Student should immediately notify their immediate supervisor.
- Student must complete Employee First Report of Injury (EFRI) and take all forms to Employee Health for evaluation.
- Student will need to report to the Employee Health department of their facility if during business hours (hours of operation may vary). After hours treatment should be rendered at affiliated acute care hospital and follow up with Employee Health on the next business day. Medical expenses at non-authorized treatment facilities will not be covered by workers compensation.
