After following the ACOM Needle Stick policy, follow the core site policy below:
- If incident occurs on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 8:00 am -- 5:00 pm or on Tuesday or Thursday from 7:00 am -- 5:00 pm, student should go IMMEDIATELY to Working Fit on the first floor.
- After hours, weekends, or any time the Working Fit nurse is not immediately available, student should report to the Emergency Department and register as EMERGENT.
- After care has been received, student will leave a message at extension 4765 with the following information:
- student's name
- department
- work extension
- home telephone number
- source patient's name and room number
