After following the ACOM Needle Stick policy, follow the core site policy below:
- Student will follow ACOM's needle stick policy as listed on the home page.
- Should the student desire to be evaluated for the injury, he/she can register as a patient in the ER and be evaluated for the needle stick with appropriate blood draws and PEP prophylaxis. This will be the financial responsibility of the student.
- If student is evaluated in the ER, he/she will need to schedule follow up with his/her primary care physician.
