ACOM/SHM Research Week and SOAR Poster Day were a great success!
ACOM Research Week was held November 29 – December 2, 2022. Nearly 100 posters were presented by ACOM students and faculty as well as Southeast Health (SEH) Internal Medicine residents. Posters were presented virtually all week. Presenters engaged with the public through Twitter with judges from ACOM and SEH Internal Medicine faculty scoring posters throughout the week.
Research Week ended with a grand finale co-hosted by the Student Osteopathic Association for Research (SOAR) and ACOM! This included optional in-person poster presentations, selected student 10-minute talks, and a keynote talk given by Dothan native and University of Alabama-Birmingham faculty member, Ellen Eaton, MD, MSPH. Students voted for their favorite posters, and winners are listed below.
Congratulations to the ACOM/SHM Virtual Poster Week winners!
