Mobile Resources: Epocrates

Medical students can receive complimentary access to Epocrates+ while in school. Follow the instructions below to receive access Epocrates+

Step 1: Register an Epocrates account

• Create an account using either:
  • The epocrates mobile app
  • The epocrates website at epocrates.com under the Create Account option
• Use your ACOM student email address when registering

Step 2: Activate Epocrates+

• Set your occupation to Medical Student in your profile.
  • If your profile does not reflect your student status, update it here:
    https://www.epocrates.com/account/profile
• An offer will appear in the mobile app prompting you to enter your Medical Education (ME) number.
  • If you do not know your ME number, contact the AMA Unified Service Center at 1-800-621-8335.

• Your access will be granted until the end of your graduation year.

If you encounter an error or your expected graduation year has changed, contact Epocrates Support with:

• Your registered name & email
• Your school name & expected graduation year
• A description of the issue
• Possible reasons for errors: incorrect graduation year or unrecognized school code.
