These videos are intended to aid the development of skills that practitioners need to effectively treat patients. In addition, this digital resource is ideal for exam preparation, board review, and as a teaching tool – created for osteopathic students, faculty, and other licensed clinicians.

The Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Osteopathic Principles & Practice (OPP) Department has launched a digital learning tool featuring nearly 400 videos produced by the school’s Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (ONMM) faculty, designed to help viewers perfect their technique and understanding of osteopathic treatments.

This groundbreaking digital resource called the “OMT Video Library,” provides a comprehensive curriculum of osteopathic manipulative medicine, and is intended to aid in the development of skills that practitioners need to effectively treat patients. It is ideal for exam preparation, board review, and as a teaching tool — created for osteopathic students, faculty, and other licensed clinicians.

As an ACOM student, you receive subscription access to the ICOM video library which features an extensive catalog, organized by technique type as well as anatomical region. Categories include: Articulatory; BLT;  Cranial; Counterstrain; HVLA; Muscle Energy; Lymphatics; Myofascial Release; Postural Exam; Ribs;  Cervical; Thoracic; Lumbar, Sacrum, Pelvis and many more.

It was developed and created by ICOM’s OPP team, including: Dr. Dennis Rau Jr., Assistant Dean of Osteopathic Integration; Dr. Sarah Davis, Assistant Professor of OPP; Dr. Jenisa Oberbeck, Assistant Professor of OPP; and Dr. Richard Sloan, Associate Professor of OPP.
