ACOM Safety and Security: COVID-19

Follow the procedures below for situations regarding COVID-19.

Remember, ANYTIME you are away from your clerkship rotation, no matter the reason, you MUST fill out the Participation Tracking Form in E*Value!

I have potentially been exposed to COVID-19

• Follow your preceptor, medical education director, and/or hospital requirements
• Notify core site coordinator, regional coordinator, clinical curriculum manager, and Dr. May via email
• Follow the team's instructions regarding quarantine, filling out Daily Self Check, schedule adjustments (if necessary), and completing curricular requirements

I think I may have COVID-19

• Get tested at a COVID-19 testing site
• Notify core site coordinator, regional coordinator, clinical curriculum manager, and Dr. May via email
• Follow the team's instructions regarding quarantine, filling out Daily Self Check, schedule adjustments (if necessary), and completing curricular requirements

I have tested positive for COVID-19

• Follow your preceptor, medical education director, and/or hospital requirements
• Fill out the Participation Tracking Form in E*Value
• Notify core site coordinator, regional coordinator, clinical curriculum manager, and Dr. May via email
• Follow the team's instructions regarding quarantine, filling out Daily Self Check, schedule adjustments (if necessary), and completing curricular requirements
• A negative test or a medical provider's release is required prior to returning to rotations

My preceptor tested positive for COVID-19

• Follow your preceptor, medical education director, and/or hospital requirements
• Fill out the Participation Tracking Form in E*Value
• Notify core site coordinator, regional coordinator, clinical curriculum manager, and Dr. May via email
• Follow the team's instructions regarding quarantine, filling out Daily Self Check, schedule adjustments (if necessary), and completing curricular requirements
