Drug Resources and Formularies: Epocrates

Accessing Epocrates Formulary (health insurance coverage of drugs).

• Go to the Epocrates app on your tablet or phone.
  
   
• Click the Formulary icon.
  
   
• Enter the name of the formulary into the search bar or search from the list provided. 
• Select the correct formulary and click "Add New Formulary."
  
   
• Return to the Epocrates home screen to search drugs and view coverage of the applied formulary.
• Formularies can also be edited within "Drugs" by selecting "Formulary" then "Add New Formulary."
  

Accessing Epocrates Drug Lists.

• Go to the Epocrates  app on your tablet or phone.
  
   
• Click the Drugs icon.
  
   
• Enter the name of the drug into the search bar and select the drug.
  
   
• From the Drugs page, you can choose a section from the topic outline on the left side of the page. The topic outline allows you to jump directly to a specific section such as Adult Dosing, Formulary, or Drug Interactions.
